The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
Publisher Description
Lisbeth Salander--the heart of Larsson's two previous novels--is under close supervision in the intensive care unit of a Swedish city hospital. She's fighting for her life in more ways than one: when she's well enough, she'll stand trial for three murders. With the help of her friend, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, she will have to prove her innocence, and to identify the corrupt politicians who have allowed the vulnerable, like herself, to suffer abuse. And, on her own, she will plot her revenge--against the man who tried to kill her and the government institutions that very nearly destroyed her life.
Once upon a time, she was a victim. Now Lisbeth Salander is ready to fight back.

incredible ending to the trilogy
This has got to be one of the greatest fictional trilogies written. Lisbeth Salender is a hero for everyone to cheer for. She is the example of being downtrodden, mistreated and a lost soul in a system that just assume she pass on. Her uncanny ability to hack computers, and her wit make this a page turner of a book that is hard to put down. After the incredible ending in the 2nd book, you have to wonder how it could get better. It does, this third book is amazing. My only regret was knowing that when I finished reading, that is indeed the end of the story. With Larsen dead, I doubt anyone could create anything out of this character quite like he did. Beautiful and sexy but in a very strange way. This is a must read. In my opinion, books 2 and 3 can be read without book 1. There is enough info given in book 2 to allow the reader to catch up. But, if you have the time and you want to read great fiction, pick them all up. I will read them again someday.
