Juanita Porter had always wanted to publish a cookbook. Teaming up with Kuttawa publishing house McClanahan Publishing, Porter has published 'Recipes From Porter Hill: A Kentucky Collection.'
 
In addition to being an avid cookbook collector, the semi-retired nurse is a weaver, quilter and dulcimer player. Her colleagues at Twin Lakes Regional Center in Leitchfield contributed recipes to the book, and a portion of the proceeds will go toward establishing a nursing scholarship fund.
