To Taste the Water is the winner of the Mid-List Press First Series Award for Poetry.

 

Norman Minnick was born and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a B.A. in art from Marian College and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Florida International University. In 2001 he was awarded an Academy of American Poets Prize. Minnick lives in Indianapolis, where he coordinates the Vivian S. Delbrook Visiting Writers Series at Butler University.
