Joseph-Beth is looking for an energetic Front of House Manager who is Guest focused, builds relationships, is authentic, and delivers results while being an innovative thinker.


Job responsibilities:

Ensure positive Guest experience in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied Guests into return Guests.

Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.

Provide OVER THE TOP service and grow sales through providing outstanding food and service.

Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.

Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures

Fill in where needed to ensure Guest service standards and efficient operations.

Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of development.

Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.

Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.

Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues

Interview hourly employees. Direct hiring, supervision, development and, when necessary, termination of employees.

Able to supervise up to 10+ employees per shift.



Must be 21 years old.

Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/evening shifts

College degree is preferred. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.

Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).

Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.

Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance

5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry

Ability to work 8+ hours on your feet at a time, and carry up to 50 pounds

Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
